The Association of American Physicians and the American Society for Clinical Investigation are pleased to invite you to the ASCI/AAP Joint Meeting, April 27 - 29, 2012, at The Fairmont Chicago hotel, just steps away from Millennium Park in Chicago, Illinois.

The Joint Meeting is open to anyone who is committed to the physician-scientist career path. ASCI and AAP members are encouraged to invite their colleagues, students, and trainees to attend the 2012 Joint Meeting.

Friday: The scientific program begins on Friday afternoon and is followed by the ASCI’s Welcome Reception and the ASCI Dinner, at which new ASCI members will be honored.
Saturday: The scientific program features morning and afternoon plenary sessions, a mid-day Poster Session, and honorific presentations, and concludes with the AAP and ASCI Presidential Addresses. The AAP Member Dinner follows on Saturday evening.
Sunday: The last day of the meeting concludes with the presentation of the AAP’s Kober Medal, the Kober Lecture, and the ASCI’s Stanley J. Korsmeyer Award.

The 2012 Joint Meeting again welcomes the annual meeting of the American Physician Scientists Association. APSA's meeting features keynote lectures on Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon, with events tailored toward students and physician-scientist trainees throughout the weekend. Of particular note are brief scientific presentations by select APSA members on each day of the meeting.

The Joint Meeting is the premiere annual event for physician-scientists in academic medicine and industry, and it's an inspiring meeting for the next generation of physician-scientists.
